This is a serious and funny adventure and I would definitely recommend it to you.
I would recommend the ages 9+ but it really is so good that a 97 year old would enjoy it!
It starts of with a chubby hobbit from a village called the shire called Bilbo.
Suddenly he goes on a big adventure to the cave of a dragon.
I would recommend it to boys because there is a lot of fighting in it.
It is a book full of magic moments and a very touching book.
I think the writer put a lot of work into this book.
When you read it you feel like you want to be one of the characters in the book!
It is fascinating!
