Didn’t they do well! Our Year 6 ‘Play-Leaders’ ran their own Sports Day for the school, and did a fantastic job organising themselves and encouraging the younger children. It was a pleasure to watch and all the children enjoyed themselves. Some great skills were in evidence as children ran, dribbled, threw, weaved, passed, scampered, hit and bowled their way through the afternoon, scoring points for their school teams (pictured here in 4 colours – Earth in green, Water in blue, Fire in red and Air in yellow). We were all supported by our helpful parents and friends who provided much appreciated refreshments.

At VERY short notice we were able to re-schedule Class 3’s concert. Thankfully all the children rose to the occasion and played several tunes which delighted the other classes and a number of parents. We all clapped loudly! Please wait for the videos to fully load before attempting to play them.
The girls wrote the following recount in-between matches! On Friday 1st March 2013 the team played a football tournament at Stratford Leisure Centre. In our first match we lost against Bussage, 3-0, and in the next against Mrs Mead’s old school – Uley – we lost 2-0, but we were beginning to get better….
