Alice said “We went to Redwood last Friday and we went to learn about Stonehenge.” George added “It was a large wood with a small meadow and some ponds.” Jess said “We made our own ‘Woodhenge’ and we had to collect the logs” Clem thought the event was a load of fun. Timmy said “We completed a lot of different activities, including working out how to move the large logs together.” The adults were particularly impressed with the way the children developed their team-working skills. Children were also engaged in problem solving, use of leavers and other practical skills.
