Admission Arrangements (For September 2020)

Thank you so much for taking an interest in our school.

During our October Open Day (when we are open for all parents and prospective parents) we usually hold two talks The first is ‘best understood as ‘promotional’ whilst the second has advice about the process for applying for a place at a Gloucestershire school.

Year 6 pupils meet visitors at the front door and take visitors around the school, including

  • Our Spiritual Garden, built by the parents of the school
  • Classroom 3
  • Classroom 4
  • The Staffroom
  • The Playground
  • The Hall
  • Classroom 2
  • Classroom 1 – our base for Reception children, where you were encouraged to ‘Stay and Play’

You can spend a little time in each classroom and speak to the children about their work and the school. Staff are also happy to talk, when not needed by the children!

These are usually available throughout the morning for all our adult and children visitors, and served by a School Governor who is happy to talk about the school.

Example Open Day ‘Agenda’ (Subject to change each year)

If you are seeking a place at North Nibley for September 2018, or earlier, or even beyond, Governors at our Voluntary Aided school are able to admit children according to a number of different criteria, even after the County Allocation Process is complete. Click here our page on general admission arrangements.

If you want a place please apply to the Governors. The school office will be able to support you in the first instance – 01453 542600.
